It is my pleasure to introduce to you Ms. Mutai who seeks to be part of your programme. Having interacted with Cherop in both academic and professional settings, I have come to know her as one with little tolerance for the status quo often challenging conventional thinking and methodologies instinct with finesse that brings people together despite opposing views. In a group, Cherop is the seemingly quiet, level-headed creative to whom you turn for insight on a matter.
I bear witness to the skill with which she led a team of over fifty individuals in formulating and implementing multiple community-based initiatives in diverse sectors. Many of these projects won accolades from both faculty and corporates. This showcased her strength in translating theories into scalable and implementable works that have effected change and which is an avenue through which her intellect is best exemplified. Her actions lead me to believe in her innate altruistic sense that consistently pursues social equity and justice. This firmness in purpose is evident in the nature of the work she chooses to engage. Her curiosity and drive pushes her to constantly learn and evolve thereby exuding a sophisticated understanding of varied topics. She is a quick study who easily grasps new concepts which has made her more than capable of working in and contributing to teams that are outside her trained professional field.
