Viwango
Viwango is an independent Kenyan Civil Society Organization self-regulatory initiative. It exists to improve performance of CSOs through the promotion and application of minimum standards of excellence and voluntary independent certification.
How to get certified
One of the most complex challenges facing CSOs today is the question of their legitimacy and accountability as social actors to key stakeholders.
Standards
Standards describe a minimum level of performance. Standards provide benchmarks and targets intended to stimulate a process of quality improvement , upholding of common values and higher level of accomplishments .

The CSO OCAT tool describes four levels of development for each capacity area of the organisation.
